LOCAL CLASSES

We hold regular yoga classes in our beautiful hometown of Gerringong.

These classes allow you to feel grounded, and offer an opportunity to nurture your mind and body. The goal is to quieten the mind and go within, and to create space and time to connect with yourself and the group. The feeling you take away is a place you can come back to time and time again.

Weekly Yoga Classes

Take a break midweek and allow yourself to be guided through an hour of gentle, nurturing yoga. This class is focused on holding space, and techniques to alleviate anxiety and exhaustion caused by our modern lifestyles. 

The ultimate selfcare for your nervous system, sessions include:

  • A strong emphasis on breathwork
  • Gentle vinyasa flow, accessible to all abilities
  • Guided relaxation and visualisation
  • Savasana (relaxation).

I tried yoga years ago. I hated it and thought it wasn’t for me… Then I found Hope Springs and Jess.

Jess welcomed me with open arms. I’m so inflexible, uncoordinated and never thought I could do yoga, and found group glasses daunting and way out of my comfort zone.

Jess is such a beautiful soul. She is real, beautiful and encouraging. I feel I can be my authentic self around her. I absolutely love my Sunday afternoon class and it makes me feel strong, empowered and ready to face the week.

I’m such a fan of Jess’ yoga classes. Jess offers space to unwind and creates an environment that allows the group to stop, be in the moment and move our bodies to their individual capabilities. It’s a non-judgemental area which allows me to feel comfortable as I’m not a yoga enthusiast!

I go to Jess’ classes because my body and mind benefits from slowing down and soaking up the space that she creates for all of the busy minds in the room.

Each week I really look forward to Jess’ yoga class and in particular the breathing which surprised me as I love the stretching and holds in yoga. I find that the breathing exercises prevent me from thinking about all that needs doing and allows my mind to really just stop for that hour. I always leave feeling very calm.

Attending Jess's weekly classes is the ultimate me time. I look forward to it all week. I often arrive frazzled from a busy week as a mum of 4. I just love Jess' caring nature & her ability to make everyone feel relaxed the minute we walk in the door. Her classes leave me feeling calm, relaxed, centred & refreshed. For me it's the perfect exercise, de-stress & possibly the only thing all week I schedule for me. It's just the best!!!
